Rebar Xpert is India’s specialized BBS management platform developed by Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd professionals. After a decade of Excel-based BBS, the team built Rebar Xpert as a complete centralized solution — automated calculations, real-time tracking, and instant reports.
Which bar shape standards are supported?
Rebar Xpert supports IS 2502, BS 8666, and a custom “Other Shapes” library (codes 200–243), totalling 530+ bar shapes. Each shape has its cutting length formula pre-built — select the shape code and enter dimensions to get the cutting length instantly.
What types of construction projects can it handle?
All RCC construction types: residential buildings, commercial and industrial structures, bridges and flyovers, roads and highways, metro projects and tunnels, hospitals, schools, water treatment plants, and factories.
Is Rebar Xpert cloud-based or offline?
Rebar Xpert is a Windows desktop application that works completely offline — no internet required during use. Internet is only needed once during initial licence activation. This makes it reliable for site use even in areas with poor connectivity.
How does the Steel Reconciliation module work?
The reconciliation module tracks three categories: Issued Qty (steel provided to site), BBS Qty (steel required as per schedules), and Stock at Site (balance remaining). It automatically calculates wastage percentage and generates reconciliation statements for contractor billing.
